well in the new year I will be moving over to the New Port Richey Florida area

as I'm new to this site but not at all new to cafe scene as I've been around the rocker scene in London since I first started riding bikes at the beginning of the nineties
I was a paid up member of the 59 club for a wile but got bored of that so used to do my own thing hanging out at the rock no roll clubs around London just living the life really and working as a London courier for too long so ive mainly had cheap old Jap bikes but currently run a BMW thing that's done in a flat track kind of style
then way back in 93 mark who owns the Ace Cafe now said to me in a pub in north London he had an idea to do a run to mark the opening of the closure of the cafe 25 odd years ago
so I thought it was a good idea and helped him to promote it for the first few years until I got married (still have a bike)
but now im doing the big move to the states as the wife wants to move back to be near her family so ive never been to Florida I don't know a soul over their yet but I will eventually so what goes on in Florida in the bike scene as I don't want to get involved with the Harley crowd as I don't like the perfume their market ;)
so any like minded people in the area that can help me get to know the area get in touch
as I will be staying with my in-laws in the New Port Richey Florida area until we find some where better to live

yo del,

welcome.

well check out ahrma vintage roadracing at daytona in march. some of the fellahs from this site will be down there racing.

don't know the florida scene too much other than that. the only other advice is to beware of the bluehairs!

peace,

tex

More people are killed by blue hairs/cottonheads (Florida is known as God's waiting room) than by anything else down there. Seriously, they are a hazard, "But officer, I was pushing on the brake pedal as hard as I could" , they get confused. Good luck down there!

miami beach is cool. as far as the rest of fla, i personally think its a toilet. lots of white trash, pickup trucks, and trailer parks. i know, there are some really nice areas, but thats just because hurricanes come through and destroy them regularly. so they have to be rebuilt and renewed regularly. kinda like god doing some renovation work. and im not counting the keys. dont anyone take offense, i mean i live in baltimore. there arent many places worse than this one.
