So today was break-in day for the little CB160 I've been restoring.

All is well but one thing: Its got no guts. It just doesn't pull. At all.

Here's the setup:

1. Stocker '68 CB160 motor with an S3 ART piston kit. Head is stock.

2. NOS CB175 carbs with stock jets.

3. Dyna coil/wires and stock breaker point.

4. Emgo pods ('cause I found them lying around).

5. Branson/Clever Dog Megaphones with simple (a.k.a unwrapped) baffles.

Under load, she just feels...weak. Hell, she bogs when I drop her into 3rd even after I wind up the throttle. 45 mph is a chore for the little girl.

She is firing on both cylinders.

I've run it with and without the pods and it seems to make little difference either way.

I'm suspecting valves right now but it's going on 11 o'clock and about all I have energy for is sitting here thinking about it and trolling for ideas.

I'll double-check the timing and the valves tomorrow (all was spot on when I first set it up).
