great looking bike. the right side covers are pretty plentiful, the one that covers the electrics is nearly impossible to find unless you do get a maier cover. i see it has a kerker header too. verrrrrrry nice. oh yeah, do yourself a favor and dont put pod filters in it though. the bike can be a real bear to tune with em on there, just get a k+n replacement filter. where did the tail section come from? i like that one better than the one on my bike now

some people are like slinkies, basically useless but they still make me smile when i push them down the stairs

the bike is a 1978 K so only 1977-78 K and F side covers will fit the frame. It is a shame since I just sold a minty left side cover on ebay for a 78 K.

I am curious as to whose seat that is. Unusual to see a CR seat that fits a stock tank and uses the latches.

good start. I like the spare engines you have in the back and the 73-74 tank on the 77-78 frame.

Picked up the seat at this site.
http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/CB750SOHC1969-77.htm

As far as fitting the tank, it does but the latches, I hacked off, going to attach it with duct tape...no not really. Still working on that mod.

Fast reliable company, been happy with their service so far. I will keep my eyes open on the side covers, I believe Dennis Kirk sells them online, was hoping to nab originals though.

Dennis Kirk sells the Maier reproductions. You are better off wiping your ass with cardboard and slapping it to the side tan using the maier reproductions. David Silver Spares makes their own reproductions under pattern parts and they are very good and accurate. There is some guy on ebay who also sells repop covers that are really good and cheaper than originals.

cb750s can't be bobbers...they are too new. Evo harelys (or any bike pas the 1960s) can't be bobbers either but the ignorant chopper masses don't seem to care.

I didn't realize airtech made a CR seat for the stock tank. Been a while since I have been to their site.

do yourself a favor and get a proper set of clipons for that bike. cb750s are not meant to have clubmans (not comfortably anyway).

your the first air tech buyer to actually get the part you ordered .I see there web site has changed quite a bit and If you actually have your part then they may have changed around finally.Ill keep my fingers crossed as they do have a lot of good shapes .
I just think cafers here should support our guys first champ sells wheels and clip ons and bret sell cafe parts "glass from the past" just so you know.
Geeto is our encyclopedia on bikes ,but really "bobber" is now a style and not the true form in which it was born from.
As cafe racer is applied to street bikes and has extended into bikes that really are more street fighter then cafe.
Things get blurry quick as most people dont care, they just want a look. Its why so many street cars have wings and fins and large frontal scoops that accutually slow the car down due to its disregard for aerodynamics, its just looks they are after.Alot of bikes cars now are the milli vanilli,of the past.

Wow a lot to reply too, as far as supporting the fellas on the board, no offense, I started this project before I found your website, thanks for the who's who so I can contact them appropriately!

As far as BOBBERS, I guess you can say it is the look, he was chopping it, the frame is for a Bobber, more than a chop, shorter rake, real condensed. Anyways, I sold him on Cafe's he is starting that next.

Clip Ons, definately good idea, had these bars lying around, tried them on the chop first, didn't work, went with stock bars on that instead, put these clubmans on mine. Piece mealing the bike so for now making do and can update as I go. Keep the tips coming!
