NY & NJ riders: Crotona Midnight Run TONIGHT!!!

Tonight is the 89th annual Crotona Midnight Run! This is the original Midnight Timed Run which was started by the Crotona Motorcycle Club in 1911. 1999 was the Ramapo Motorcycle Club's first year hosting this event, and it was a great success. It is a simple timed run that is a major challenge due to the fact it is run at night in February. A timed run is an event that requires entrants to maintain a prescribed speed over each section of the route. Open to all riders. Nathan's Central Ave. Yonkers, Be there or be warm! Rosko,

I am too far north to go, BUT, I remember that I went with my uncle in the early 70's. He was at the time road captain for the Cross Island motorcycle club. I stayed in the van. I think that he was working a check point, and not riding in it. All these years I thought it was called the "Katonah" midnight run.

Thanks for the memories....I was just thinking about this a couple days ago.
