its an old Neil Young Song...but some times you just wish you lived somewhere else if only for a day, just to snatch up some of these things around the USA.
I love ebay motors and search word project such mechanical vessels pop up that I get the desire to throw endless hours,sweat equity,brain power,creative energy and hard earned cash into.
They are always where, Im not, mid west is a huge source of vintage bikes cars and forgotten treasures.
On ebay "project" now there are two 70's cb750's a porsche 914-6 with no reserve,two saab sonetts, afew porsche 356's all projects .

I hope ebay will take the lead of craigs list and sell things by geographic location.My mechanical -creative side gets so highly worked up just to find out shipping alone kills the deal ,and pick up only...yeah only if I lived on sugar mountain....

Im so far behind ,that I think Im in first.

Was down in New Orleans this weekend and my Buddy clancy was being "encouraged" to scrap his excess bikes at the salvage yard. If still I lived there, there were plenty of bikes I would have snatched up if only for some of the parts. Perhaps it is a good thing I live somewhere else since I am kinda tired of living in my own salvage yard.
