I was lucky enough to catch it at our local film festival. Very nice. The bonus was that both Bruce and Dana were in attendance with a Q and A after. Super nice guys.
They were both old movies when you saw them as a kid. Endless Summer (68) had been out 16 years and On Any Sunday (71) for 13 before you were even born. They were almost 20 years old if you saw them when you were 5.
yer i know Marc, was merely going for a - young blokes like the old movies too - point. Saw Easy Rider, Stone and Quadrophenia, though was a teenager at least then. Think my agegroup was all about the Crusty Demons of the Dirt movies.
Any other quality (or not so quality) motorbike related movies I might have missed?
To dispell the glamourousness of GP action in the 70's. And a decent film as well:
In regards to Fastest Indian: If lemon trees grew in Portland, I'd plant one & piss on it every morning. And, I don't have a die grinder for my toenails. Dunno if that's good or bad.
