Yes ,they assembled the wheels. It was a MKIII ,they have a conical rear hub with wildly different spoke lengths,maybe that was a factor. Plus the MKIII Interstates are heavy. Mine was loaded with my wife and I. Also luggage and we were running high speeds. The Lester mags are not failing. But neither did the carbon steel spokes fail. I think SS spokes are not a good idea for demanding uses, but good for show.My 2001 BMW GS either has magnetic SS (unlikely)or it has carbon steel spokes, and I think BMW would use SS if it would hold up.
