I'm doing something similar so I'll have a bunch of questions for you.
Like....
Stock length of shock? I wanted to go to 13" and Dave Quinn said the damper wouldn't work on spring rates that low

Front forks work ok? How much and what type of oil?

Thanks for all the kind words!

JackC-Jennings and Roebling are within 2.25 hours of the house so I'm pretty lucky to have those so close.

ROSKO-thats actually a factory CYB seat I picked up as a X-mas present to myself a few years back. Alittle on the expensive side but way cool in my book! Yea it's a plastic bottle and I have since added a PBR label ... I have run a PBR can on my street bike for years and figured I should carry on the tradition. Plus it's the garage beer of choice.

joeC-yea I didnt have a choice wit the gray cables unless I wanted to buy bulk and make my own in black. Although I should have since all but the tach cable had to be cut and re-soldered.

bfd-I'll help ya out as much as I can. I had D Quinn put together a standard 13" eyelet/eyelet set of shocks together instead of the 12.3" stock length eyelet/fork shock that is stock on small Hondas. Had to mod the swingarm to accept them but they work. It raised the rear up
1" from stock.
The front end is pretty much stock. I machined a 1/2" spacer that sits on the top of the springs for preload. I'm using 225cc's of 15wt BelRay fork oil in dry forks.
All the above suspension is still trial and error as I'm still playin with the setup to suit me.

Didn't see the lower eye conversion on your swingarm. Mine is the older version with the cast ends on it. DQUINN did mention the extra choices in damping with the eye-to-eye bodies.
I'll email you off list with further questions
thanks
