so how much open real estate is there in your area? joe c. and i will be showing up around 7:30-8ish thursday evening. i told joe that i wanted to avoid the paddock area if all possible. we will have four race bikes between us (me=3, joe=1) and two 10x10 canopies.

i unlike most of these malcontents here like dogs (especially bee-stung crazy ones), and appreciate mary's racing prowess.

joe c. said that he had to get approval from his boyfriend mike o. before he could commit to a space in the paddock, but i keep on telling him how cool you are and that he might learn to be cool if he saw how you and others do it!

there is hope for joe. we just need to show him a little tenderness.

so, are we worthy? can we hang next to clever dog racing and company?

i await with baited breath.

Usually there is plenty of room of there, depends on when you get there, those freakin car guys take up a lot of room. But typically it's less crowded over on my end that towards the center of the infield. And by crowded I mean WAY less crowded than the garage area.

I usually park parallel to the straight, right over against the bushes. Steve Baker is usually on that strip next to me, Matt Tanner and Gary Jedniak right on the other side of the pavement. If you guys really plan on the being there Thurs I bet you'd have your pick of spots over there.

We'd love to have the company, the more the merrier. By the way, the dogs stay in the camper 75% of the time. We don't bring them to have fun, but just to avoid having them in a kennel. We have a very friendly bunch over there. All very cool, very helpful.

Stake out an area on both side of the pavement about in the middle of that infield lane. Along the bushes is often good cause the car guys don't like to park there, big tailers have to be parallel to the lane in that area and those guys like to back their cars out onto pavement, so they park in places where they can put the back of their big ass trailers facing the pavement.

PS.
We usually have a coffe machine and coffe for three (us plus one) if you want coffe and shit, bring water and coffee and we can brew it up in our machine.(I don't think the tap water in the infield is suitable to drink..not sure). We've got a toaster, stove, microwave and fridge if anyone needs to borrow them for a bit. Usually Ruffo is parked close by somewhere and he's got all kinds of shit in his rig and is helpful if anyone needs advice etc.
I'll have tools, gas lantern if needed, neato Japanese lanterns for mood, extension cords.

Someone bring a bonfire please.

tex, mikeo reserved a garage. but we're not sure if we're gettin one or not. he'll be there on friday. i personally would like a garage if we can get one. trust me, i have spent many many weekends in the muddy infield. we used to always pit on the road near where tanner usually is. up against the fence on the back straight where all the sidecar guys used to go. the garages are just nice if it rains or is scortching hot. we'll probably have alot of people this time too. mike, me, you, bill burke, mike b, your woman, my woman, denise, pretty joe, conner and katlyn, maybe jennifer and graham. that should be enough to make jb hate us.

besides, i hate dogs.

you gotta ask pretty joe what happened to his new bike. i think hes got a new guzzi and he came home one night and found it lying on its side in front of his house. but i'll let him tell the story.
