i didnt think it snowed in zimbabwe. i cut a deal with the snow gods. its only going to snow until feb 1. then its going to get warm and toasty and all of the salt and sand is going to disappear. but, just in case, dont blame me if it doesnt happen.

its still snowing here in baltimore too. i rode a good part of last winter. tim courts even commented on the nice riding weather when he was here in february after daytona.

ok, later

a friend of mine has one of thier wave runners. 1200cc 2 stroke triple. something like 130 hp too. when he sits it on the dock and runs it out of the water and revs it, it just shreaks. the noise it makes through out the marina is insane. it does almost 65 outta the box. i could only get it to 62. i couldnt get it trimmed just right for the conditions. even with 2 up it'll go that fast. i rode it for an hour and a half one day and i could catch pretty much anything in the bay!! and there is a ton of shit you can do to those things from pipe and carb kits to impellors, ride plates, flame arrestors and big bore kits. i cant imagine going too much faster. that and the thing when at plane can run across water only a foot deep. pretty cool.

just think of all of the new friends you'll have if you get a ski though.

I don't mind the snow so much, I just wish winter would only be a couple months long and then turn back to 70

and no, I don't know who yvonne duhammel is and I didn't see him race dick mann's bsa last year at daytona

no relation to Miguel Duhamel who won the 2000 superbike chapionship on a rc 51? I guess if it was good weather all the time we wouldnt really enjoy it the same way we do. Anybody see the new BMW street legal four wheeler concept. Now everybody will join the ranks of us road warriors.

BMW street legal four wheeler concept?? any info on it or pics?? that sounds like fun....i remember building a tranny with a friend in a horse barn in vermont during the winter and getting sick of the cold and going out on the three wheeler....we always ended up breaking the three wheeler and having to spend the evening fixing it so that the next day it was ready to reek havoc....

yeah, miguel is yvonnes son. and it was #17 on his plate at gstock. i dont know why i thought it was 9. and believe me, if anyone knows nixons history around here, itd be me right aaron?? actually miguel won a race that day we were at gunstock. i remember hearing something about them mentioning it at the dinner. yvonne is a nice guy. he and mike have had some good races up in canada. \

suzuki had a concept vehicle that was 1300cc 4 stroke powered. was it the busa motor, i cant remember. i dont follow that stuff too closely.

the kids in the ghetto in baltimore ride 4 wheelers on the street all of the time. you can hear gangs of them running around. it used to be alot worse than it is now. and i mean youd be driving down a major thoroughfare and thered be some kids in colors ripping down the other side of the road. they put slicks on em. you could hear them comming for blocks.

Oh Hell Chikor... build 2.. they are cheap! *laugh*

I also ran a '76 Honda XL350. That was last winter.. it didn't do as
well due to needing motor work. I'd love to rebuild that motor and put it into a "cafe" style bike for road racing. I dream about the Powroll big bore kit for that motor.

This is Teddy ... he likes SL350s. In fact.. he is putting one together now for vintage racing. Mid-Ohio VMD will be the debut.
