I've got a bunch of the Accel/Taylor style plug wires with the graphite(?) type of core and no extra stock terminal ends. I do have some NGK screw-in style caps. Are these parts compatable?

Bill, I don't really know. The graphite wires usually fold the strands over a metal ferrel or something where it goes into the cap. The screw on NGK stuff screws right into the metal core wires.

Throw out the graphite wires and go with solid core. Unless of course your system requires resistor wires.

It's just a case of trying to use what's sitting on the shelf at home. I'm out of those metal ferrule ends and copper core wire.
Off to the parts store I guess

I use the radio rule for my ignitions....if it doesn't fuck up every radio within five miles it's not working right.
