The RSV got a little attention over the winter. Had the forks, shock, and steering damper rebuilt by Witchkraft, new tires, cut the bellypan so a sidestand would fit and bent to peer pressure and put more graphics on the tank. It now says "Aprilia" on it in roughly 400 places, give or take. The joke is "Hey, what kind of bike is that?"

Anywhos, got it all buttoned up for the first track day (actually a bike night) of the season yesterday and while is still needs some tweaking it was probably the best track session it's seen so far.

I love sidestands. Not having one was a much larger PITA than I had envisioned.

my 72 bonneville.

bought it when i was 21 years old, back when margaret was PM, i think. fell down at 110mph some forty years ago. a long slide. stayed away from the ton many years.

then said fuck it, took it to ECTA LSR and did 117 with jets and reverse cone megaphones. still a nice commuter. lots of bottom end.

the daughters. box stock production EX250. 103mph depending on wind. the record is 107 something and i think we can get up there with gearing and a bit of fiddling with the carbs. theyre jetted for 90 mpg, and i think we can give some of that up.

I think you need to think about your wording a little (or was pun deliberate?)
'my daughters box'?
