Hey, I have just gotten a rd350a that I want to do a little work to but cannot find much info on the port timing etc. - any help regarding this would be well appreciated (degrees open duration, opening degrees for ex, in, tx closing etc etc.
This is the second one of these I have owned and wanna make this one epic - I have some pipe design software and wanna try building my own expansion chambers, I have already started to graft an USD front end onto the frame and have a box section swing-arm and wheel for the rear end (with decent hydraulic brakes!)
If you have ANY info you could share it is very welcome.

Was about to ask if you've ever ridden an RD350 but I see this is your second, what happened to your first RD and what do you plan to use this one for, street riding or racing and in what class?

I have a friend that had an RD when we were kids that he pump a pile of money and shop hours into. The vast majority of the money was spent on performance but Teaser's first post reminded me he spent a good sum moving it back toward stock. My memories of it as a bike were that it was a blast to ride, a bugger to get rolling from an uphill stop and an absolute bitch to get started. It was so bad that when a bunch of us would go weekend tripping the deal was that after stopping for gas, lunch, whatever, Mike had to be moving down the highway before the rest of us would put on our helmets. You could judge how pissed he was, after the starting ritual, by how many miles it would take us to catch up.
