If you want to spend a few bucks you can get decent shocks from Progressive or Hagon. You can easily spend more, but this would be a an upgrade and wouldn't break the bank.
Actually did some searching and I found the distributor for the US.
Dave Quinn Motorcycles in Connecticut. Just spoke to him and what a great guy. Very help full. I have to measure the length of the shocks and get back to him. $179 for the pair, not bad at all.

don't forget that hondas have clevis ends on them.
Why do you say the rear suspension is shot? are the shocks leaking?
Something else you should think about is the swingarm bushings. Put the bike on the center stand and grab the rear tire. Try to move the rear wheel and swingarm back and forth perpendicular to the bike. If it moves at all your swimgarm bushings are shot. You will need to have a shop to replace them since it requires a press. If it does not move then you are good to go.
