it seems my air filters are so nasty and need replacing. unfortunately
it is near impossible to find stock air filters. i am looking for recommendations/ suggestions.
should i get k&n cone filters that just clamp onto my carbs?
if so, what kind of rejetting work is that going to leave me? (ie. is
it something i will be able to do?)
will it work with my stock pipes (i really love the scrambler pipes).

I got K&N's for my 74 cb750 and took it to my mechanic for a tune up. He sent me home. He said you cant get needles or jets for the stock carbs to do a proper tune. I have been searching for a solution ever since. Anyone got any ideas?

call sudco, they have all the needles and jets you would need. I run my K&N stock replacement filter with stock jetting and stock pipes and it runs fine.

Stock replacement filters should be available from honda ($33 - expensive). I went to my local independant bike shop for the GF's cl360 and he had an old unused one on the shelf I got for less.

I run a UNI foam filter I got from an independant shop... pretty cheap, flows decent (so they say), reuseable / cleanable with some gear oil.

Pretty sure they make em for everything... just go to any shop with a catalogue.

Hey By'

BTW, Mine's in the stock airbox of a seca
