I would like to remove and reattach the VIN sticker on my 1971 Honda CB500 Caferacer from the current slightly bent frame (currently registered out of state) to a straight frame which has no title. Seems like the metalic sticker would come off rather easily. I'm in California and they VIN check everything here prior to registration.
Anyone attemtped this? See any problems?

Thanks,

Bob

ive eyed up the same thing many times. here in md, you dont have to have vin#'s checked or any inspection for vintage machines. how about a frame with papers?? should be cheap and way easier than destryong the good one. hell, for that matter, try it on the old bent frame first. you wont be reusing that one anyway.

or, go to arizona.

title services are something like 100 bucks.

let us know what happens and what works if it does.

i have a hot bike i need to unload.

(just kidding)
