I've been here for a couple of days and it seems like alot of you are pretty well aquainted. I would imagine close side by side racing action of killer 350's would do that. seems like you are in close proximity to multiple road courses. Im from Central illinois where the roads are straight and the race tracks are oval and made of rich black dirt. I'm just a little jealous...

I'm from Milwaukee, so not all too far from the Elkhart R.A. track. I'm going to be heading down to Chicago Saturday and hopefully check out the Cobra Lounge. I'm really praying that we don't get this 4-9" they're talking about. I thought winter was over!

I shouldn't complain too much. Springfield Mile and Peoria TT's are always fun. Not much in the way of machine variation.
I'd love to see either one of those races, particularly Peoria. Last year's event was a travesty, but it's still on my must do list.

Don't forget Road America for the AHRMA races June 13,14,15. There are going to be many of us there. I may get there early and get a big spot picked out for all of us to pit together. The AMA Pro is the weekend before. See you there.

According to a friend, whose name I'm not going to mention (catboy), the official RA website mentions no AHRMA races that weekend. What's the deal. I need to know before I take the time off work. And no, I haven't checked the site myself. Prolly should do that.

I'm going to send you an e-mail one of these days Ken, to find out more info about lodging, etc. As in - should I be making a motel reservation? Soon?

Judey, It is listed on the AHRMA website calender, http://www.ahrma.org/calendar.htm, so I expect it is still on. I haven,t been to RA for 20 years so I don't know what the hotel accomodations are like these days. I expect this is going to be BIG so rooms will fill up fast. The days are June 14 and 15 with a practice day on the 13. I will most likely head over on the evening of the 12th since it is about a 4 hr drive for me, although I may just make the early drive over on the 13th. I will try to get there early and secure a pit spot for all of us.
