OK, here is another one of mine that is actually one of my favorites.
It is an FT500 Ascot with CBR600F2 wheels, VF750 F forks and CB700SC rear shocks. It has an unknown pipe with the remains of a shortened Yosh can. I have 36mm Mikuni flatslide on it with a stock motor. It also has aftermarket, maybe Woodcraft, CBR 600F4 rearsets on it. I have the stock wiring harness still intact, so I only have to plug in lights and it is street legal. Currently I am running a 120-17 front and 160 - 17 rear Bridgestone BT-003 race tires.
It is an Airtech piece. It is a Yamaha FZR750RR OWO1 replica. I picked it up a while ago from somewhere and have tried it on variety of bikes before it stuck on this one. I trimmed the bottom of it considerably.
We'll make the decision probably right after Christmas and get the gift card sent out before the new year. January starts on the first, both in terms of the calendar, and this contest.
A couple of notes going into the next one:
* You may enter a bike that didn't win in subsequent months' contests, but you may never enter more than one bike in a single month.
* Once your bike wins, it may not be entered again,, but you may enter another bike.
Mark Burton's Triton takes the prize. The only condition being that I get to ride it if I ever find myself in his crazy backwards country, ya know, just to verify that it's for real.
I will say that it hurt me on a personal level not to vote for that CX500. One month down! Mark, PM me your email address and we'll get that out today. Ichiban is throwing in some stickers too, so you've got that going for you.
Yey, and Ichiban stickers too! Lots of other nice bikes posted on this over the last few weeks, so I am chuffed with winning this. I`ll even let ffarl have a go on it if he comes over here.
Cool for Old Blighty to take the first CR.Net ROTM award with a British bike.
I`ll buy something bike related with the voucher and post a pic. Thanks again
My Triton will be sporting Ichiban stickers, green zip ties plus possibly some pink plastics from Ken. Your Duc could only beat an egg while I have those upgrades.
Your Ducati is quite something though Mat and I don't doubt it would be faster around a track.
Anyone going to the Manx next August? Be cool to have a sensible ride around there though.
