For those interested. I am an instructor with Hawk Racing School-run by George DeCamp. We have a special section for vintage racers which allows for a license for the USCRA. The school is held in combo with non racers-street riders. The nice thing about this school is you can have one on one instruction for the whole day if desired. I think the cost is $175.00 +/-. We are putting the schedule together for 2003 and I will post the dates when I know them. If you are not intereted in the license, just comming out and riding the track is a blast. I guarentee you will be exhausted by the end of the day!!!!

(get it??) hey, did you ever get that motor from mike o i sent up?? just wondering. last i heard he still had it in the back of his van. and aaron was all mad at me for "helping the enemy" if you could get some dates posted for the hawk school when it finally happens, thatd be cool. the people i know who have done the hawk school have loved it. either that or get us a url or something.

hope things are well

cool, i hope you can use it. mikeo really doesnt tell me much unless i ask. he told me a story once about a guy that found him out at sears point a few years ago. the guy was an old friend of his from way back or something like that. apparently mike just up and moved out of town without telling the guy and the guy didnt know anyone who knew what happened to mike. so when he heard his name announced at thew the track he went to see if it was the guy he knew and sure enough...

so as far as im aware, the thing could have set there for years and i thought you had it.

just tell aaron its a piece of shite and you cant use it. you know, tell him something good. tell him its your new entry into the lwsv. youre building a dual engine drag bike or something.

later
