i was about to put some mobil 1 in at the track (nhis for the fim shootout) when chris marshall said, dude, read your manual.

p.s.- the answer is 40w motor oil. you better read that manual cause there will be a quiz!

My manual says 10w-30. I'm just wondering about synthetic vs. non-synthetic in these. It doesn't say anything about that I'm just worried about the clutch slipping.

I'd say go with conventional and change the oil every race meet. There are plenty of synthetics without the friction modifiers but...the clutches on these things are pretty highly stressed who knows how they react to different oils.

Probably the best bet is to ask someone that runs them a lot.... I know a guy named Zack that rides one.

see, my diabolical scheme worked! aaron read his freakin' manual.

yep, it is 10w30. use mineral based and change it every weekend.

Your manual is 5 years older then mine. Its probably a little different. And after speaking with Rising Sun, Zack, and then Chris Marshall, I got different answers. All respectable answers but different. I took Chris's advise because he's a handsome Canadian.
