Folks -

Had a 75 400F with a Yoshimura 458 kit and more in my youth which I foolishly sold. Bought two project bikes (75 & 76) to get the magic back.

Made headway on one of the bikes (with good title):

- Professionally powder coated frame and all black painted parts
- Bead blasted all engine casings and clear coated
- Fresh valve job and straight head
- Stock cylinder bore (freshly honed)
- NOS gas tank (red) and NOS seat (both in factory packaging)
- NOS gasket sets and carb rebuild kit

Have complete motor (minus carbs) for the other bike and most parts.

What is the best way to sell all of this? Ebay?

Really admire and am jealous of all the cool projects everyone is working on here. It's just that I don't have the time to complete these bikes or race one if completed.

Thanks much!

Andy

find a spare tank and seat and put that on the bike you are going to sell on ebay and list the nos tank and seat separately. those two items should fetch about a grand together. you should get $1500-$2500 for the project and spares package. now post a linky to your auction so we can all stare and be jealous.

good luck,

tex

Sent you an email about a few parts.

Post this up to a captive audience on www.sohc4.net/forums .

There's also a yahoo group mailing list for the 400F.

I agree Ebay is probably worth the hassle and fees to get top dollar for the NOS stuff.
