I've tried GP at NHIS and always find myself jammed up in the left hand turns....when I blow a left turn and need to down shift coming out of it and the shifter is already practically touching the ground it's hard to get my toe under it to down shift. Course GP is easier on the right turns.
So...I guess it depends on what track I'm at.
Sometimes I reach down and shift with my hand, sometimes I check chain tension with my hand going down a straight, or pull a plug and check it, or check the oil, or drag my feet to slow down.
