Over the years I've collected a bunch of Mulholland shocks and shock parts. They made a series of rebuildable, interchangable shocks that are really nice. I needed some shocks for a Ducati 350 project so I just mix and match shock bodies, damper-rods, mounting eyes and springs till I have what I need. I did have to weld a set of eyes cut off some old shocks to the new bodies...but since you can take them apart it's no big deal. Just dump out the oil disassemble, do the welding, paint, and reassemble.

I don't know if anyone is still making stuff like this except for the high end stuff like Progressive etc. Hopefully the supply of NOS parts won't run out any time soon.
