I'm lookin for a cheap, good lookin shorty muffler for my seca... So I found these cheap shortys... Anyone used em? Are they decent?

So I'm thinkin either this one:

I know these look heavy as hell, but this isn't a race bike... plus it's kinda a temp deal anyways. When I get the loot I'll put something decent on there.
My current can is pretty fugly...

Or if you guys know where I can get something decent for the same cost I'm all ears.

I have a pair of those shorty universals, that you're welcome to. They're pretty loud, and caused my cb360 to backfire, so I replaced them. They're in pretty good shape, I think. I'll have to dig 'em out & take a look.

Don't pay shipping. Any motorcycle shop can get you either of those mufflers for 30 bucks.

The shorties are just mini glasspacks, a.k.a. loud and "cackly".

The straight mufflers or the reverse cones?
I have a 4-1 on my bike so I'm only lookin for 1 really.
What do you suppose caused the backfiring?

Bike shops here barely carry bikes, much less parts. hah.

So, think one of the reverse megaphones would be decent as a single can on a 650 motor with a 4-into 1?

I've got the straight thru mufflers. "Cackly", indeed. And not much quieter than open pipes. They were on the bike when I got it. Backfiring most likely caused by lack of backpressure.

OK cool, well I really appreciate the offor but I think I'm gonna go for the 17 inch reverse megaphone lookin one.

Here's hopin its a bit quiter... I mean I like the sound of the open pipe... but last time I ran it I quickly found out my new neighbor was a cop, and an asshole to boot.

Threatened to take my plate and "fine me"... this was the first night he moved in, hah.

As far as backfiring goes... the can on the bike now is a straight-through sport-bike-like exhaust so I'm thinkin the new one will have more backpressure if anything.
