i remember watching roper, marshall, and grag all crashing into each other going into 3. on the first lap. i was comming out of 2 and saw all of the chaos in 3. greg was the only one to get going right off. chris was knocked out of the race i think. roper went back to the garage area, and he and a few other guys were standing his bike up on end and shaking rocks out of the exhaust pipes. he apparently got back into the race, one lap down, and finished something like 2nd. the guy is just amazing.

Yeah I heard they came up on this guy in the middle of turn 3 waving to the crowd. Some number 117 guy, who was yelling Armageddon, Armageddon! He caused the crash.

yeah...uh huh. on the first lap, but the time i got to t2, they should have already been on thier way up the hill. thats how much faster than me they were. (and probably still are when they want to be!)

and i can almost guarantee roper and marshall were both on a 250.

I ran....and slowly walked back with my head down. they're both uprights. maybe I'll just get the entire bike for 3k with 6200 miles on it. looks like a good racebike project to hack up.

maybe we can all plan a rod trip out with you. we'll take rechargable grinders and start hacking the thing up in front of the guys house. that would be fun!!

aaron, you going to the banquet?? i know since you dont have any trophies to collect this year theres no real reason to go, but its still fun anyway. let me know.

Ok back to the "Slopers beat Ropers" Cup. I think if Joe gets one finished and we have atleast 5 or 6 to start it might be a duable thing. I'd like to get Johnny B involved cause he's great on detail and organization. Although he may be busy with all his other stuff. He here wants to head this up. I think Joe is a good cantidate where he's know so much about everything... No really I think Joe or Scoot would be great for this? What do you guys think?

i'll tell ya what, i make a really nice trophy plaque for it. id love to organize something, but i wouldnt know where to start. although id assist in something like that. id like to organize something, but since i really wont have anything to do with the actual racing of the mentioned bikes, it seems kinda pointless. aaron, if you want to do this bike thing, maybe i'll pick it up at the banquet. we'll have to figure out a way to get it into the saturn. thats if i go to the banquet. work is already backing up into the end of january. i need to figure out a way to work more and faster.

Joe you will be racing a sloper. The 160 early 175 Hondas's are slopers. I'll help and do think its a good idea, I'm just rapped up in a bunch of other things right now. If Scott doesn't want to do it, you have to. Jeremy's not exactly smart enough so that leaves him out.
