I don't think any of our clan crashed or blew up. Everyone did pretty well.
Unbelievably hot and miserable weather....a few sprinkles but about 90+ and about 75% humidity the whole time. Never sweat so much in my life. At least until we would go into the AC'd trailer for a cold drink.
Frank Smith took a bad spill, broke numerous ribs and I guess had a very mild stroke due to a blood clot. Last I heard he's awake and talking. So we need to all be thinking of him.

Busy schedule on Monday but they got all the races off, no oil spills but a few ambulance trips...the heat was really taking it's toll on some of the guys.

I got a new personal best lap time...1:34.4....two seconds better than my last time out. The extended swingarm and rebuilt rear shocks made a nice improvement in the handling which probably accounted for the majority of the improvment. The 202cc engine is still screaming like a banshee.

First let me mention that I forgot that Zack did get hurt. Separated Clavical I think it was...says he might be riding again in 2 weeks?

Hey...if I race and don't fall, you know where I finish in 200gp.

Got a 5th in 250gp. Man has that class cranked it up a few notches, fought long and hard to get by Stremfer, Ruffo and Syphers...and that only got me a fifth...up front were Pritchard, Heath, Eric Green I think and someone else.

John D. won something...not sure what..F350 I think

Aaron podiumed in 200gp...and won MONEY in the 125 race.

AHHHHH....

What a great weekend. entered 4 races and had some excellent dices, one being in the ulsv. Aaron and I were going at it BIG time. Thank god I had motor on him as he was just riding the snot out of that Honda. It was really cool!!! Great Job Aaron!!! He would pass me evey lap in 11-12-12a and I was able to motor by on the straight until the last lap and I let him lead. I got by him going up the hill(i think) and defended my line in 11-12-12a and beat him to the line!! Thats the kind of racing I enjoy the most. If he got me in that race it would have been well earned. Branson, that freaken Honda flys dude!!! I love the sound. It was cool when you passed me going into 1. Hell of a commitment you made. Oh yea, remember the 200cc freak comment. Your Cheif FREAK !!!!!!!

Good Job guys and keep up the great riding!!!

John,
That Duc of yours has a four speed doesn't it?

That's got to hurt from 11 through the exit of 12...I drop from 5th to 3thrd from 11 to the exit of 12.

I put down any turn one move I make to confidence in those Dunlop tires...that soft compound front is like glue.....sadly it's only got a few more races in it and it will be history...and there are no more to be had right now.

Although the wheather was devil's kitchen material I had a blast all weekend. The "spectathelete" racing in downtown was great fun although I thought Bob was going to harpoon me with the "special flag" for trying to keep up with Eric Pritchart...but the crowd sure did love the fax racing ;) Monday was good although I'd like to kiss the person who made padding for the wall in turn two..that I met with heavinly force in the 500cc race trying to make a stock clapped out 350 twin keep pace.. Light wieght I was subject to my much heralded mechnical prowess after having been called out for 107dbs on the in the sound check.. my attempted quick fix resulted in the spectators had LOTs of time to watch me (for what felt like 30 mins every time I was on the front strait). Formula CB was fun dicing with Tex who eventually decidided to give the newbie a chance to rag on Aaron at the awards ;) Rabi had checked out on us on is "Fourmula" CB.

Hey now... no accusations of cheating unless you've got proof or want to pony up the protest money. That boy can ride and his bike is well tuned.

I actually find this funny, someone saying that they're running a clapped out bike and complaining about how someone dusted them in a race...

Sucks about Frank and Zack. Hope everyone else is ok that crashed.

my guess is that rabbies bike is within the rules, as far as the rules say. which i personally tink leave alot to the imagination. and i think pete is a true master of rules interpretation. and that is part of the contest. but id bet its legal to within what the rules say. in his interpretation. which id actually tend to aggree with.

although the cam thing is a little weird, but hes got the stamp of approval.

There's a pretty wide power margine between the typical stock engine and a stock engine that has been very carefully tuned. The right exhaust system, right timing, right jetting could make a 5hp difference on the dyno. Not to mention the weight...a properly prepared 350 could weigh 30-40 lbs less than an average CB350 race bike.

yeah, doubt theres anything hinky there. people also forget, rabs been riding a long time. and is fast. and if youve ever followed him into a corner, thats where he makes most of his time. its not like he sqirts the throttle on the straight, and thats it. he is fast all over. today i started ripping apart my next frame. im literally cutting off everything that isnt holding something, supporting something, or keeping it together. ive also ripped apart my motor. i couldnt find anything obviously wrong with it there is something up with one of the valves, which i'll pst a pic of here. otherwise, it all looked good. pistons, bores rings etc. so i'll get it back together and rebuild the carbs. so we'll see. in the meantime, the plan is to run the "B" motor.
woohoo.

whoa... slow down there sparky... the "four" in fourmula was what was supposed to be a joke.. NO disrespect or accusation intended.. He could dust me on a 50cc any day.. the guy is smooth and shit house fast.. didn't mean for it to come across any other way... The four was in reference to a confusion of my cb 350 two and cb 350 four... that's all... xoxoxox

I knew what you meant.

Here's a pic of you point and shooting. Also this pic was taken from Owens at the VC and was the only bike you had running. You have to paint your bike a different krylon color or just put a number on the tank that says how many cylinders are on it. Or maybe if we tease Rabby he'll join our board.
