"this is old, so don't get your hopes up..."

Just pointing out that the sentiment still applies IN bridgehampton. People regret letting the track go. Even now (seven?) years later. I know we, as local kids, had a blast going there all the time. Now all eastern L.I.'ers have is Demolition derby at Riverhead raceway... not even the 'motorcycle rodeo' they used to do.

Why won't anyone chime in on Pocono? Can't be too much, those NY track day groups don't charge much....

rosko,

pics coming i swear......

on the subject of pocono, i think it is like any other road course in the u.s. where they only have so many weekends available during race season, and those weekends have been reserved by car and sportbike clubs. the "east" course at pocono is the one that is run mostly by sportbike clubs. the "south and north" mostly by car clubs. pocono has the ability to run the north, south, and east courses individually and they would have two different car and bike clubs running the same weekend.

i like the "north" the best for a motorcycle course. the "east" is real flat, and bumpy in sections.

i always wanted the uscra to add it as another course in it's season. nhis, pocono, and beaverun would make a nice uscra series of races.

thoughts?

Looks like maybe not all is lost yet for Tamworth. I'm sure more details will come.

CMI sues Tamworth

Racetrack builder Club Motorsports Inc. revved its legal engines Friday, simultaneously suing the town for denying a wetlands permit last month, while motoring up to Tamworth on the same day to file a second application for the same permit
