I just finished assembling the speedo that came on my $200 76 750 K after a disassemble, cleaning, and painting the housing. Didnt turn out too bad....just a few nicks on the chrome ring that holds the housing to the guts and a few bumps to the new paint job.

Was wondering what year model my speedo came off of. I know its not a 76 because the dial is not green.......the tach is though. From looking in the FAQ forum for the clock/tach references...it looks to be a 72 ???

looks like 1973-1974 speedo. Looks just like the one on my 1973 line and all and the 20 mph incriments. The background has faded. It doesn't matter the year as they all are interchangable. Buy a set of cafe faces from carby and your speedo and tach will match.

thanks for the info Geeto.

I had thought about getting a set of those but I've already got the speedo back together and I dont think I want to tackle that again.....on this speedo anyway. Im going to try and find a gauge set with lower miles since this isnt the one that came on the bike, and then tear them apart and put the Carpy faces on them.
