The first annual Spring MOTO GIRO EAST will be held May 5 & 6, 2007 at the
Hidden Valley ski area located at 44 Breakneck Road, Vernon,
NJ 07462. The resort's website www.hv.nearyou.net contains the usual
restaurant, accomodation and area highlights guide.
Camping is available onsite at Hidden Valley for vans and motor homes.
Ride the scenic hills of Northern New Jersey, Northeast Pennsylvania and
Southern New York on your pre-1969 motorcycle up to 305 cc's. If
you have run in any of the previous Giros, you know that this is one of the
most convivial and interesting events for the older, small,
street motorcycle. Participants and spectators get to see the "other" bikes
that we all own and cherish. Most importantly, they are run on
low traffic, scenic roads through the small towns and villages the
organizers have carefully chosen.
After final registration Friday evening at the Hidden Valley Resort, 44
Breakneck rd, Vernon NJ
the first bike will start Saturday at 9 a.m. sharp. Saturday's ride will
take the participants to a lunch and bike display at the
Chatterbox Drive-In restaurant 1 State Hwy 15 in Augusta, NJ 973-300-2300.
The Chatterbox's awesome menu includes Northern New Jersey favorites like
Chicken Fazizzle, Philly Cheese Steak, and the Big Wazoo. Their website is
www.chatterboxdrivein.com.
From the the Chatterbox the ride winds through Pike County Pennsylvania
then back to the Hidden Valley ski area for a buffet-
style dinner.
Sunday morning's ride will start through Northern New Jersey and then
move into New York, where the midway point for a one-
hour bike display starting around 11:30 am will be at television's famous
Orange County Choppers showroom 1019 State Route 17K in Montgomery, New York
845-457-1995.

After the display, the route winds back to the Hidden Valley ski area for
