In the past I have bought adjustable every thing for sports cars and find out I really only adust it once and it stays like that forever. Is any one adjusting their handle bars alot or just when initially putting them on,they have clubman bars for very short money which I think work just fine on street bikes ,I recently bought a set of clip ons from oldbikebarn that werent adjustable other then the clamp and found they are just fine, the tomasili which I see at Omars seem a little over kill in the adjustment depart ment look more like a kids tech toy then a bar .Whats your take on cafe style bars for street bikes.I did see a pair of adjustable clip ons on a few bikes on ace cafe gallery but I havent seen them for sale im not sure if they are adjustable or just are replaceable handlebars (I do love that look any source on vintage clip ons with replacable handle bars in a good price range.

bull,

i run tommaselli 35mm clipons on my hona. got them where i like them and thats where they stay. of course i do torque them down every now and again.

the tommeselli clubmans are cool too. i used to run those on my cb, but then joe c. wanted them. he has 'em on his street cb550.

cheers!

adjustable clubmans are good, since the best setup might mean they bang into your tank. so having some room to move them around is nice. and thats good for ergonomics. no other bike feels like mine. theres a reason for that. and i really dont think the intent is to have them move around at various times. i think the intenet is to have it just the way you like it. i think tex's clips are overkill. but they are cool looking. and youd probably find 90% of the ikes with those bars arent set where he has them. i have 3 piece clips on my race bike. i never have to mess with them. i had solid clips on it before, but the bar removal i thought was a really nice feature. of course, since i switched, ive never bent a bar.
