help... stock '72 cb500 rims... what kind of tires can i put on that will stick like mez1's or sportmax's any idea??? and does anyone know if there is a race class for that bike?

You could put on a set of Avon race tires. Not technically street legal but treaded and I seriously doubt if any inspection station or cop is going to notice you have race tires on. Probably get a couple thousand miles out of them on the street, maybe more.
Not sure if they'd warm up to sticky temps on the street though.

I'm sure Wera or AHRMA have a race class for the bike.

or the avon sc. its got a dot stamp. the bridgestone battleax has a dual compound and is supposed to be ok. mike says it totally sucks in the rain, but what doesnt?


i dont know about a class for the 500.

You can run that bike in Middle Weight with USCRA and F500 with AHRMA. I'd run the Avons.
