Someone I work with knows I ride an old Triumph. She's a writer and has an idea for a fictional story. She wants me to help with a list of old motorcycle parts that might be difficult to find, and also a list of resources one might end up using to find them. Of course, I know if you're connected to the right people (here, for instance) you can find almost anything. But what would be some of the more difficult parts to find these days, and where might one go to try and find them?

hey i know a guy that is an avid old brit restorer and if you email me i may just pass alond his info....i am going to get in touch with him about this so he won't be suprised and just to let you know last i heard he had about 26 bikes....yup 26 and that includes a pristeen 750 comando and a pristeen 1956 BSA A10, he's actually the guy that i got my kawasaki w1 from....

oh yeah he works for Ducati .....
