I probably have no right to comment here as I was racing an RS125, but I want to help blow the sunshine and say I would have had nothing on Tim with my Ducati. My best fresh-motor-ball-out time there on the Duc was 1:37...it would have been fun, to say the least. Always is.

Great to see everyone...sucks that it's over for the winter. Doing 1:28s was a hoot and the RS is a great confidence inspirer. I think I'm going to have to get one.

Oh, and I still haven't taken the Duc apart yet. I'll be back for an update on the Mid-Ohio damage in a week.

My guess is crank failure. Or maybe the cases just broke.

Texy,
I have been working hard. Today I installed a new garbage disposal and got the dining room table sanded down so I can refinsh it. Oh yeah, I applied for 2 more jobs.

Sounds like a 5 star meal at Daniel's in NYC. "Yes, ahhhh hummmm, I'll try the duc sauced motor...... with a 1787 Chateau Lafite."

As far as the motor crapping out...My guess is the thingy-mah-bop, got stuck in the doo wacky, which caused the watchamacallit to go klaboom.

Ken, how about a poultry processor, apparently that is one of the top ten worst jobs in America.
