im in. my dads goin too from s.c. a.d. you commin up dude??? ttilghman??? hey rosko, you get your papers yet??? hey, i have a '68 motor i might be able to have pried from my fingers. remember you asked??? i know phinneys commin. zach commin??? chris is riding the r6 over the weekend.

jc
zach, i sent the video a while back. remember you commented on "slower traffic stay right" that was summit. average laps speeds are about 120 for the fast guys. i think that video link is here. and yes, chris is riding an r6 this weekend. its a loaner. a friend of ours will be running one of the fat house racing bikes. so chris talked his way into gettin an r6 to ride. should be interesting. im interested to see how he places. i dont think hes ever actually raced a modern bike. although when he ran the rc51 a few years back he would have easily qualified for an ama pro. and he said it was just scary. and no steering stabilizer on it!

jc
honestly zach i think youd beat him. chris is an excellent rider, and i think if you backed him up 5 or 6 years, youd have your hands full. but the daytona crash slowed him down alot. on his 125 he usually does really well though. i think riding the r6 will be alot tougher for him. but who knows. i mean he did run ducati 750s and that 888 for a bit. knowing the track would be his only real advantage. and that would only come into play if he was near you, catching you, or able to get in front before the melee.

i think the ride is sorta available anytime. so maybe next time.

oh and arron, the 250 isnt done.

jc
hey spaz....i just said back him up 5 years, and track knowledge would be about the only thing that comes into play. why dont you bring the r6 and ride it?? i bet hes faster on the tz than youd be on the r6. i dont know whod be faster on r6's though. you should bring it. itd actually be alot of fun to watch both of you start on the last row and see how far up you can get. seriously, do it. ah, chris is an expert though, so you wouldnt actually run against him. hmm....i think ross' r6 is currentloy running around 100hp at the wheel.

and since were there, whats yours putting out. ive actually been curious.

and your just crabby cuz i dont have a transponder for you. its ok, i wont stop loving you.

me
the same way you ride with aarons dick in yours.

you meant, the fastest guys around.....new hampshire, right?

aaron, you know youre only 15 points behind me right?? i cant wait to race this weekend. ive never felt like i had to beat anyone this much before. although i wont be pissed if you beat me. im looking forward to it.

jc
hey, i was thinking it too tex!

jc
well, ive only done 2 rounds this year. its not that im worried about points, i just wont be able to live another year if i have to watch you walking around all smug! and i know youll be doing everything to try and beat dave if you can. (like thats going to happen) barber has 95 points, so hes pretty much got it in the bag. there are like 4 people tied for 4th place. getting a 3rd after only 3 races that rivals any of the uscras series. also, so you know, the stocker may be available for the 500 if youre interested. ithnk youre in the points ther too no? i think we got ross' situation figured out. hes going to take his bike down to his place and dyno it today. see if he can get some shit figured out. i hate that rubber band. and that shifter. actually, i hate that entire bike. next year ill be back to waiting for you on the front straight if that'll make you feel better. maybe they can put a bus stop there for me or something.

jc
that race ill watch!!! yeah, jb, another one whos never show up at summit. you know 350gp is the only class left for the sub 350 bikes right??? why dont ya come on out and play? god, i cant wait to ride my own bike again!

man, the smack talking around here is good.

jc
there are usually about 8 bikes on the 350 grid. but we grid with v1 (lwsv/lw proddie, whatever its called up there now) the only real fast 350gp bike is ropers. the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves. we used to have some fast ducatis and such show up, but i dont know where they all went. since wera eliminated the 250 class, alot of bikes have dissapeared. which is too bad. they always made for a fun race in 350. turk used to show, and steve d'but i think with the smaller class gone, and steves condition, thats the end of that. so if pete showed up, thatd be a nice addition to the grid and not such a walk away for roper. or if chris had his ducati running still. i guess its important to remember that there is no fcb with wera. its more like the old 350gp.

and matt, i promised id be gentle the first time, remember?

jc
we had a great time this weekend. lots of wild shit. tim, awesome riding with you. i hate my motorcycle. glad i could help get you going too. alskee....you gotta get a little faster.. its just not right for a stocker to lap another stocker! anyway, we all got wood im pretty sure, and maybe converted another modern guy to vintage, although he could have changed his mind at this point. aaron, i will say i was very disappointed at not seeing you there to race. i was seriously looking forward to it. but rope didnt show either. so you guys are tied for 3rd in the region. kinda funny! anyway, sorry ya'll missed out. chris rode the r6 for the first time. one round of practice and then a solo16. he started 38th. finished 17th i think. not bad. the only time hes raced a modern bike. it was great to watch him ride in the pack like that. instead of out front like usual. anyway, great races, lot of fun, and sorry yalls missed out.

march is right around the corner, start planning your schedule now. and get working on those bikes.

jc

that was pretty exciting. you missed it, i fixed texs bike on sunday too!

now on to the tz! (yeah right)

we watched bucky do his race. it was amusing. last place on the r6. i think ross got lapped buy 10 guys simultaniously in t8. it was frightening to watch. they were passing him on the inside and outside at the same time. he turned a 1sec faster lap time than bucky. hell get faster though. im sure.

really glad you guys made it down.

jc
by the way....you guys, lap times are up on mylaps.com

jc
and branson, you know they run a 50 class right??? you gotta get down here and run the 50. they shorten the course up for it and it looks great. id like to see mary school some of those little bastards on the metrakits.

jc
jb wera.com

looks like you could run in superbike50 but probaly would kick ass in f-80 also. theyre are usually like crf150 type dirtbikes out there. the kids on the metrakits seemed fast.
