Heya all. I just grabbed a 74 Suzuki GT 550. Good shape minus a dent in the tank. I noticed the biggest draw back is how low you can lean into a turn. Anyone know where to get a set of expansion chambers, or any other solution to this? Otherwise, anything I should know about the bike, or anyone have any links for a decent parts place for this old smoker? Also I hate to ask, I have no calipers so if anyone knows what size mm I would need for clip ons or clubmans? I think I' prefer clubmans, but I'll take feedback either way.
I believe I saw a thread that Geeto had one of these; if so, anyone you know sell after market parts for this bad boy? Can't find much through google. Thanks everyone.

The GT550 forks are 35mm universally. The '74 is a transition model in some respects and if yours has the rubber dust caps and chrome trim rings sealing the outer fork legs, they can fetch a pretty penny on ebay as they have long been discontinued. The dust seals also fit the GT500...

+1 on Jemco - I believe Jon can make you either street pipes or race pipes. The race pipes are more as one pipe loops through the middle of the bike where the airbox is on the stock set-up.
