This is going to be my first step with this bike.

The most I've done is change the oil on my Kawi ZX-12R, so I'm not too sure how to switch the bars & the components.

Or you could do that, short-term might be easier

IDK ask Geeto, are K footpegs mounted like an F or to the frame like a C? Are stock F pegs any farther back? Euro/Sport Control pegs fit a K?
not 100% sure but I believe the K pegs ar emounted to the frame like the C, which would mean the F sport kits don't work here. If you do a search on this site there was amember working out rearsets for a 79 DOHC K which is the same bike. I think his name was Trefmawr or something like that.
bet he frequents "clubmans"

good lord dont buy the raask rearsets. the quality of the materials is atrocious. i got a set for me 750k. the arm that goes onto the splined brake rod cracked the first time i put it on. the actual brackets are a crap quality casting too.

Political correctness

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I am not a big fan of them either but as far as ready made bolt on options they are the only ones out there.
My DOHC 750F came with clubman's (no, they didn't hit the tank)(yes the previous owner may have been gay). The other's are right about the riding position without rearsets being uncomfortable... I changed mine to superbike bars after a couple seasons. Now I just pretend I'm Eddie or Freddie in their early years.

Where the hell are all my 10mm wrenches?
now that was amusing.
