I recently purchased a 1973 cb750k and am planning a cafe theme. Was hoping someone could reccomend a source for a cafe style tail section that will work with a stock tank besides airtech. Im not having much luck.

Here's my home made seat and cowling from an old tank. I used dense closed cell foam for the pad. It's firmer than carpet foam, doesn't absorb water and cut and glues (with a heat gun) easily. You can even sand it to shape.

I make seats from the rear section of old tanks ,its an old trick but you get a very STEEL seat and you can weld hinges or pans to the bottom.

I have bought fiberglass seats and have made aluminum seat supports for them .

I think the problem for most people is it still takes a bit of fabrication even when you by a pre made fiberglass seat because you really just get an outer skin with no mounts or support.

But you need to get over your ebay phobia ,because like it or not if its out there it IS ON EBAY.

Good luck LiLBull
