TEX, WHAT'S THE PROCEDURE FOR CHANGING ANTIFREEZE IN THE RAYHOO. SEEMS A FUCKED UP IDIOT DESIGNED THE SYSTEM.

And just adding fluid. or just emptying fluid. Lemme know.

i never did it unless i was doing a top end job, so i always had the motor out of the frame. however, i would disconnect the hose from water pump to the rad, and let it all drain out to a bucket. then i'd disconnect the hose to the head, and feed water into the hose still attached to the head to flush it out. remember to safely dispose of your antifreeze!

i really hope this helps. no one ever asks me anything technical.

bfd,

long shot here............cosmo?!?!?!?!?

yeah, just what i thought, they got nothing, cept' for hot air!

try www.mototek.com they are in texas and race aprilia rs50's which has the same motor (am-6) as the reiju. now rear sprockets are probably gonna be different, considering that the later prillia rs50's (2002 and up) went to a 17" wheel. also diffent manufacturers, different wheels, however, there was a time that they were all getting their 16" cast mags from grimeca (derbi, reiju, aprilia, etc), so it might be worth a shot.

if purshock or one of his boys (the conduit) are reading this...........................................ya'll can kiss my ass!

tex "f cosmo" mawby

p.s.- getting that off my chest sure felt good.

bfd,

also can try: http://www.riejumoto.com/ and click on their distributers link. closest english speaking distributer is barrus in england, but the website is down and url is for sale, not great news. i guess you could try calling them.

tex

p.s.- sprocket specialist doesn't list reiju in catalog. i couldn't find afam.

Sprocket Specialist will do spockets based on an accurate drawing you send them. They've done it for me before.
A bit more pricey than the standard stuff...but maybe if they are convinced that the drawings are correct they will add the bike to their database and charge the regular prices for them next time. I'd assume it's also possible you could send them an OEM sprocket to copy.

Thanks Tex, JohnnyB. 1 tooth down in rear would be nice but it may not be custom Sprocket Specialist nice. I couldn't find anything on the Cosmo site and S.S. website lists some similar bikes but not a cross referance.

Maybe Frank will give me a copy of the software he uses....I've wanted to make some of my own but couldn't find the proper software. Dang....just occured to me that I could have some little 175 upper tensioner sprockets made.
In the past my sprockets have turned out to be sizes like 38....and 1/2 teeth. You wouldn't think it would make much difference....but that 1/2 tooth causes all kinds of problems.

I ran one tooth smaller on the front. I ordered the front sprocket off of thedirt bike model on a whim and it was what I looking for. So the bike Phinizy is running has quicker gearing.

i can put up a website that lists my extensive pro britten spares and hrc racing bits.......

it doesn't mean that i actually HAVE them.

as a racer, i like the idea of a class "sponsor" actually doing something for the class, like stocking parts for bikes they used to sell. service what you sell is a fine and noble idea, unfortunately that is completely lost on the turkeys at cosmo.

amateur hour at best!

my thoughts!
