Hi,
My Dad was the Norton rider Peter Middleton who raced the Northern circuits from the mid 50's to the early 60's.
A feature-length documentary called "The Fastest Lap" is being made that is to cover motorcycle racing around this period, mainly at Oliver's Mount, Mallory Park, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and the Isle of Man.
If you were a rider, race official or even a spectator during this period, who would allow an interview, please let me know. I'm willing to travel anywhere in the UK for just an hour of your time.
I am also looking for any race results from these circuits during this time. I've managed to find quite a few that were written down in the racing programmes that I have and I've also gained further information from newspaper clippings - unfortunately, a lot of the clippings no longer have the date attached - so it's proving to be quite difficult tying them up.
As the race results for the MGP and TT are so easy to find, I was surprised that I couldn't find results from other circuits on the internet.
Any help in either of these matters would be hugely appreciated!
