With so many of the greatest musicians recently passing, I thought I'd start a common thread and get all the good memories in one place.

RIP Maurice White, founder of Earth, Wind and Fire.
This sound really makes me pine for the good old days of realistic expectations and minimal responsibility.

I'm going to start a thread too. it will be "loved ones- family and friends we knew and loved" no music, actors or Hollywood types. i never want to see "good " people pass. but most of these folks I'm "indifferent" about. id trade a million of these people to have a family member back. and most people would too. this is reality.
Agree.

RIP Keith Emerson (ELP)

View attachment 18650
I first saw ELP in Hartford, Ct. in a movie theater. He was at his keyboard when the piano was raised up into the air where it start to revolve in a somersault as he played. Greg Lake was playing his guitar and he would quickly run his hand up the neck and bottle rocket type charge would shoot out the end of the guitar. One of the most awesome rock shows I've ever seen. ELP was one of my favorites. Saw Elton John, Elo, Jethro Tull and others all in that same movie theater for like $8 back then (70's).

Didn't know he rode a Z-1, like him even more now.:)
