You know that you are getting old when all your heroes die.
Yeah. Loved him as Eddie in Rocky Horror and his Bat Out of Hell album is excellent.Meatloaf, died of Covid age 74. Definately made his mark on rock and roll.
He was the founder of The Ventures - but not the RnR Hall of Fame.Don Wilson, guitarist for The Ventures, 88 years old
One of the founders of the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame
Had heard of them but never really listened to them, was never really into punk, but will check them out - thanks for the tip.Add to the list Jet Black, drummer for The Stranglers, back a in December. Great British band. The debut album Rattus Norvegicus (the rat that carried plague) is excellent and they only got better. I was lucky enough to catch them at the Masonic Temple in TO in the early '80's
I guess that I can believe that. I recently read an article about Billy Idol, calling him a punk rocker.Punk era but much more accomplished.
Yep. On researching - you are correct. Thanks for pointing that out.He was the frontman for Generation X in the mid 70's.
It's fair to describe them as punkish.
He hasn't been here for years - but maybe send him a PM.I like all music
Anybody heard from Soldering or know how to find out if he is ok?
long time CR members will remember him
Yes, I noticed where he lived. Still, might be worth a try. He may have moved but still have the same email.Communication might be a big problem as CR rider Soldering last resided in Kharkiv andtoday there isn't much left of that city.
