I assume that many members here are doing lots of small, but interesting things throughout the days.
While those things might not warrant a 1000 page thread I thought it would be fun to have a thread that people could post the small things.
Be it a job done on a bike, or car, or just something fun you did.

Me?
I took the CB1100F for a state inspection.
Also waxed it, adjusted the timing chain, and a few small squawks that it had.

What did you guys do over the weekend?

The KTM Demo team is at my local dealer. I went over on my lunch hour and rode a KTM 390 Duke for about 20-25 minutes.

I just learned that a representative of Smith County KS will be there to officially send off the 8-10 riders who are doing the Smackdab Summer Solstice Run on June 20th. Woo Hoo, a true Navin Johnson moment!

All you need is a "Jimmy Z" T-shirt, a pair of sunset lens oakleys, a backwards painter's cap, a pair of overalls, and a jansport backpack
Not just no but hell no.

are there even suzuki car dealers still left in America? I had no idea and even less idea that this car existed.
Suzuki stopped importing cars to the US after the 2012 model year, but there are still supporting dealers (mostly mutli-line dealers that used to sell them new). The Kizashi is still in production for Australia, NZ and Japan.
No, you could only get AWD with the CVT.
Yep, got it for $800. Just in time for some summer thrashing!
Heckuva deal!
This weekend I will be diving in Lake George to get my SCUBA cert.
Kinda excited!
Last fall, my wife and I did one of those free "discover scuba" 1-hr swimming pool teasers at the local dive shop. Really left us wanting more!
This evening after work, I am going to attempt smoking fish for the first time. I currently have ten rainbow fillets in the basement fridge, swimming in a wet brine with brown sugar, dill and a jigger of Cointreau.
So I'm a 61 year old white racist, and ???
Ya know, I actually have very little issue with people who admit that they're racist and are using the Battle Flag as a symbol of such, rather than the ones who are trying to deny that there could be a racist (or even any intentionally divisive) connotation to displaying it. Having grown up in a State whose school textbooks don't refer to the American Civil War as "The War of Northern Aggression," I personally find it perhaps more offensive that those people, most of whom live under the protection and privilege of United States citizenship, choose to honor a flag whose only other possible connotation is opposition to the preservation of the nation that I live in and swore to defend in uniform.
Today I am eating some really, really good smoked trout. My little smoking adventure ended up turning out very well.

Spent the evening trying to recover all the stuff on our crashed TiVo hard drive. No dice; the drive is toast.

I am not going to bother with a new drive. Google Fiber will arrive in a few months, at which point the TiVo would have no longer worked for us anyway. This was our 4th TiVo since 2002 and most likely our last.
Down in the workshop before work this morning, I tried to shift a shelving unit next to my workbench without taking the stuff off it (stupid shortcut) and ended up smashing an unopened, $20 glass bottle of Busch Clear Coat Remover. Then, 30 minutes later, I knocked one of our matched set of six coffee mugs off the kitchen counter, shattering it. Needless to say, it was not a very good morning.
I have always loved the fact that half the band went in for the feathered hair, rock-and-roll heartthrob look typical for the period, while the other two went out of their way to be anti-rockstars. Bun E. Carlos's persona exuded all the flash and glam of an appliance salesman.

About 5 years ago, I had read a pretty favorable review of Harbor Freight's "Digital Readout Inverter TIG" welder over on TCU [still available HERE, but the photos have evaporated], Since then, I'd kind of kept an eye for it to go on sale, but never caught it, and then went missing from their website completely a while back. Thought I'd missed out on a potentially good addition.

Driving around on my lunch hour, I discovered a new Harbor Freight store, so I stopped in and looked around. Well, what do you know, the new store had one in stock, on closeout for $150 off. Hey, I need to weld some cross tubes on the Bultaco frame. In short, I just picked up my first TIG machine for $350. ...Now I just need to get a 220V outlet in the garage.

Yes, Everlast TIGs are definitely a step up, and probably the sweet spot on the value for money curve. A lot of HF stuff is junk, but this particular model gets lots of thumbs up, and the price was as much as I was willing to spend on a unit to learn on.
Today I am trying explain to my co-workers in the office fantasy football league how my team scored a whopping 68 total points. It's a PPR league, even.
Enduring lots of teasing today.
Tanshanomi....loss of 2 brothers on your Dept.....sorry.
Yeah, the whole town was on a high after the Royals' nailbiter win, then a couple of hours later that happened. Changed the mood pretty quickly.
Today I'm celebrating Back To The Future Day.
