It's nearby. I'll go fetch it for you.

Actually, I know where those pictures were taken (Ann Arbor, not Ypsilanti). My wedding photos were taken in the same spot.

Interesting although it looks like he didn't do much to the engine and from the sales text:

quote:However, when you roll on the coal and lay down a cloud of two-stroke smoke on some tailgaiter, it's worth it.
sounds like it might need crank seals...

His asking price might be a bit high versus what a nice stock '71 would bring but maybe not by too much given what an alloy tank goes for these days:

If he'd put some time into cleaning and polishing the rest of the bike he probably would have already sold it...

Speaking of your T500 Geet - those blinkers arrived. One is in good shape but a little rusty and the other is not rusty but has a couple of dents. The stalks on both are rusty at the ends. One lens is in good shape and the other has a gouge on the side. I'll let you mix and match the parts to get a decent blinker out of it....

Did you check the bottom of your tank to see if you can cut a cheater hole to tap out the dents? Otherwise you're going to be stuck grinding off paint to weld on bits for a slide hammer dent puller.
