what do you think the competition was? these CB750's are out of control. I rust heap will bring $1000 and a good run brings $1200. what the hell.

I think he means 1st place at a road rally. According to the registration that bike has not been road legal in almost 10 years (license plate tag says 1998). There are probably $375 worth of parts on her, not much more than that.

Price of CB's has gotten out of control. I have one I had in storage that needed some attention, I figured out I could get $1500 for it if she ran, maybe $800 or $1000 as she sits. I really wanted to sell her as non-running but it is against my nature. It is not as satisfying to me if a bike leaves on a trailer in boxes instead of with the new owner bouncing around happy that they can ride their new bike.
