Those guys started wearing full race leathers as protection but the leather made them 'skip' instead of sliding. Too much traction against the skatelite. So now they wear full body neoprene. That way when they fall 75ft. going 50mph they just slide...

dudes...went to the new concrete park in lewiston me yesterday... incredible. there was an awesome session with tons of bro's from boston, maine and rhode island. kinda hurtin today.

the ramp reminds me of the old ramp Mat Hoffman used to have in OKC...had to get pulled by his friend on a KX500 to get speed for the 1/4 pipe which has 20ft high...his highest above the lip was 26ft i think (46ft. above the ground for those who can't add). he hung up a few times completely destroyed the bike. he somehow lived to do it again...i'll look for an online video of it and post it.
