My friend bought a copy of this game and brought it over. It's really, really fun. I would recommend it to anyone that has a PS2. The first bike I won was a CB-400 vintage racer; it was quite fitting.

If you go to the "BIKES" section there's a peek at what's inside the game. I think most of youse guys here will like the selection of bikes in the game, lots of vintage stuff.

What, no SOHC Cb750 (the one that started the superbike revolution) or RD350? Still, that game looks awesome. I'd buy it if I hadn't spent all my money on parts for my real bike. Jimmy

They only show a 1979 Cb750, which is a DOHC. It's interesting that they rate the HP at 67, which is what the SOHC 750 had. If I remember right, the DOHC version had about ten more. Maybe that isn't all the bikes in the game? Jimmy

Yes, that's what I meant to convey by using the word "peek". There are more bikes than what they show there. I'm hoping for an RD-350 myself, I'll let you know if I come across it.

Dug up an old post after searching the archives.

This game is sweet. Sure its got all of the modern squid bikes, and they make you race modern step-throughs to get your racing license (which is a bitch at the higher levels by the way), but I just won the classic bike race (rode a cb400 race bike -- Jap market only twin) and was rewarded an RC162. First-person view around and around Nurbergring...virtual heaven.

Its the first racing game I've played where the vintage machines are actually fun to ride and all of the bikes handle DRASTICALLY different.

Some screen shots (not mine) from a forum dedicated to the game:

lots of two strokes...wonder if they sound like two strokes.

RC162 and racing cb750F...pretending to be Hailwood or Spencer kind of makes up for the lack of a SOHC 750.

stupid question: there is actually a scooter racing class? do people race those mega scooters in real life (I know the race the vespas and lammys, but c'umon a racing burgman!).

What do you need an RD350 for...in this game you have more than enough RZ and TZ bikes to fill the two stroke need.

Bummer that there is not one old triumph, old ducati, or kawasaki triple. Props to there being three different katanas. You can kind of tell this game was made in japan.

When I was young and stupid my friend and I put a sneaky pete system on his honda elete. We ended up blowing the spark plug out of the head and through the bottom of the seat. It was awsome.

The DOHC cb750 was rated between 75 and 80 hp depending on what year. The 900F supposedly made 95hp btw. The SOHC was rated between 68hp(78 750F) and 62hp (1969) depending on the year. The truth is if a SOHC made 53rwhp it was considered a good runner.
