id like to take a few spaces and thank everyone who showed up at the track over the weekend. aaron, sonja, mike o, gp champ john, johnny dirt tracker, tony "the knife", and everyone else. team halfast was in full force and raging. the racing was excellent, tons of fun, and as hot as the temps. i dont think i could make it through another 4 days of that again. i weighed myself when i got home last night and discovered i had lost 5lbs. aaron, you are the man. im so tired of watching video of you dragging you knees around the corners. it seems almost a bore now! my drive home completely sucked but i did it in under 8 hours. i was in bed barely by 4am. thanks again everyone who showed up and i cant wait to do it again. i'll get some pics up hopefully tonight.

i get the feeling hes never going to live this down. especially after the 20 "dont crash the bike" lectures! poor guy. and i know how bad he felt about doing it too. seems like its the 50cc bikes that bite you in the ass too. i remember mike bragging about never crashing in t-3. then what happens like next race weekend??? he puts the mb5 right into the wall over there. eeek.

sorry i took so long to reply. yeah, i dont really know if that was sarcastic or not either. it just kinda ended up looking that way. then i figureed, why the hell not. it wouldnt be the same with the little bsa up there running around. and everyone really likes to watch you run it. that and you know its like watching a firecracker fuse burn. everyone is waiting for it to explode we just dont know when it'll happen. ("the power comes on at 9500 so thats where i have to keep it") youre a nut! those sidecar racing pics are from john and jo wilson. the canadian sidecar team that runs the bonneville rig. if youve never met them, they are a real treat and some of the coolest people ever. maybe they'll show up at the track next season. i love those pics too. hey aaron, i know you'll probably give me shit about this for like months, but im not going to make the next race weekend. i might try and come up for the parking lot race if you show but im not sure about that either. my wallet is empty now. that and the 8 hour drive each way is a killer. especially for only one day of racing. this will give me more time to work out my menu for the next race. ive got some excellent barbq recipe books now. tell hutch hi from me.
