Hello,

I am new here so, Hello from Amsterdam! I am busy transforming my Honda Transalp to some sort of cafe racer. I came across a picture of a very nice looking one. I was wondering if any one can tell me from what bike the tank and side panels come from.

I think the seat is custom made. Anyone tips on how to make one of those?

I hope you guys can help out!

Cheers!

Rens.

No. No idea. They look custom made.

That Transalp pictured is not a "café racer" by any standards. The gas lines look a bit stupid, by eye and functionally. The alloy front fender looks like it would fall off after one fast ride on a bumpy road.

Danger, is my business.

As Whitworth said, the bike pictured is no cafe racer. Anyway, I have to say you fellows in Europe get some interesting models of bikes to choose from.
The standard Transalp, might not be such a bad platform to start with though...why not simply strip the machine of the front fairing and bash plate just to see what you have under there? The standard fenders, seat and tank don't look all that bad to me.

Best of luck!
