Trick to putting Clubmans on.

2193 Views 18 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Geeto67
So I just got all my pretty stuff for my bike and am having a major pain in my ass trying to run my wires through the clubmans. I unsoldered what i could and tried pulling the wires through with a big ass bass string from a guitar (its the only thing i found that would be strong and flexible. but nothing. the bars, wires and you guys are laughing at me. Is there something i am doing wrong... or is it just a really complicated thing to do. It seems like the first thing people do when they get a bike is change to clubmans , but damnit i cant get that stuff going for me. Any advice or suggestions would be great.thanks.

HA. I have about half of a can of wd40 left. plenty of anger filled force and pretty much no more patience... i will keep at it. And never take them off.

yeah im going for the notches, i happen to have a whole donner bike that i pulled some controls off of. that should hold until i get some clip-ons (by the way, Can i internally wire clipons? should be pretty easy, but probably no need to). anyways, as you can tell im new to this building a bike thing. i ride leg powered bicycles not these machines. So im thankful for all of the input. hopeful i will have somethings safe and nice to show soon.
