Here's my newest project. Its a 56 wideline frame with a 60 Bonneville lower end. I'm still trying to find a Rickman 8 Valve top end for it. Anyone??? Suzuki 4 leading shoe front end. Lyta sprint tank. Drilled Triumph conical rear hub in a custom swing arm. I'm going to be using the best of everthing on this one. So updates will probably be pretty slow.

Been a long time since I have updated this thread. I'm really not much further along. Choppahead in New Bedford is building my motor. I went with a 67 crankshaft for the lighter flywheel. Carrillo rods. Norman Hyde high strength push rods. Joe Hunt Mag. Race springs. 1/2 race cams. Bob Newby belt drive. Again, all the good stuff. Last weekend I spent a couple hours with Frank from Clubman Racing. Here is a quick shot of it as of this afternoon.

Finally made some more progress.
Went down to see Big Truth and Jay at Choppahead in a blizzard today to get my motor and trans.

1960 T120 lower end.
750 Big bore kit.
Carrillo rods
Norman Hyde high strength push rods
Titanium valve springs and retainers
Joe Hunt mag
Every bearing and bushing is new

Transmission is a 5 speed in a 4 speed box
Again, everything inside is new.

Running a Newby Racing belt drive

Still some more polishing to do but I think it looks pretty good so far.

TroyFab stopped by the garage this morning and hooked me up with a seat. Its perfect, exactly what I was looking for. When he left, I got bored so I threw the motor at the frame and it stuck so I think we are good with that. Stuck the fairing on there just for looks. So this is what I have so far.

Then I got distracted and started working on the snowmobile.

Looks great! Beautiful bike coming together there. Love the sprint tank, of course.

One suggestion: maybe you can cut down the seat cowl a little? It sticks up strangely high. It's probably not too far off the mark, but everything else is so balanced and harmonious that it stood out.

it pains me to say this because the bike is so nice, but that seat doesn't belong there at all. You owe that awesome tank better than that.

this is just my 2 cents which means you can tell me to eff off, though! :)
